Maaaan I love this game to but it dose have so many problems

i ran this game on linux using wine the first time, had 0 issues or crashes for my 20 hour playthrough totally vanilla, later when i was using windows i installed the game and it crashed within 5 minutes of starting a new game lol

the book adds 1 to perception permenantly when used. its easy in the vanilla, you just hold shift and scroll around the map.

Oh well... Time to reinstall Deus Ex.... 🤷‍♂️

On the topic of VATS, the VATS Tweak mod added so much more replayability to the game. Now I can rp as an actual good shooter, instead of using my controller ass aim. Vanilla VATS gets more accurate the closer you are, meaning it's not good for snipers. VATS Tweak makes it so accuracy scales of Perception instead of distance, the way I thought it would work when I first downloaded this game. By speccing into high Perception, wearing Perception boosting gear and using Perception boosting drugs, I could easily get 95% accuracy on body parts and 90% on headshots, from a very good distance. Now when I make a revolver using cowboy or sniper or soldier, I can justify them being good at shooting. I can even pretend my cowboy is smoking a cigar whenever I use Orange Mentats to buff his accuracy. A +5 boost to Perception is so good I always want the buff up active, as if my character really was addicted to smoking like a true gunslinger

Chapter 4 of my current run (core difficulty) the only time i used turn based was fighting the Playful Darkness. Just like the first game, an Abjuration specialist is MVP 😅

I've got my take on survival mode now after playing it. 1. PS5 actually worked better for me mod wise. On PC, you either have to make your own mod pack and worry about load order and on average do a lot more troubleshooting, or download a wabajack which is usually a massive overhaul made by a super opinionated mod creator and the readme is always like "you will die a lot but I balanced this pack to tough but fair git gud." Seems like a lot of folks just wanna make the game into dark souls. PS5 is more restrictive on mods, but they tend to work a little better, and there's enough to make it work and even look a lot better. 2. survival mode should be a check box like it is in Skyrim, not its own difficulty setting. There's an awesome suite of PS5 mods that tweaks survival to be easy, normal, hard, whatever difficulty. 3. regardless of console or PC, the only problem with bed saving is that the game still crashes occasionally, and you can lose hours of progress to that. This is fixed with one of the various camping mods that lets you set up a little camp. It just makes sense that my character would be able to lay down a sleeping bag somewhere for a nap. 4. I haven't solved this problem on console yet, but fallout 4 really could've used a halfway point between walking and flying a vertibird when it comes to diagetic travel. Something along the lines of the Skyrim horse would make travel more diverse and fun. I dunno, lemme wrangle and ride a death claw or something with the beast master perk or something, because right now, my options are either walk or fly a helicopter straight to my destination. 1 or 100 basically. Maybe I'll try my hand at PC again and do vehicles of the Commonwealth or something. 5. I've also been dying to play sim settlements 2, so I'll probably end up trying PC again, but I also just finished like an 80 hour play through, and I'm not really ready to do it all again. Those are my thoughts from playing survival so far. Honestly, I kind of prefer survival mode in Skyrim a little more because it includes all of the stuff I mentioned, it's a check box and not a different difficulty, camping is included. It just feels more thought out and balanced. Only problem with that, is that Skyrim ain't fallout.

26:15 One thing to mention as a convenience. For NPCs that have an item in their inventory that they infinitely restock. You can increase the quantity of restocking by buying and selling their items back to them. If that NPC only has 5 wickwheat, but they ALWAYS have that amount when you go to their barter screen. You can buy the 5 from them, and then immediately sell it back to them. Which will give them 10 wickwheat. From here on out, they will always have an infinite restocking wickwheat that never drops below a quantity of 10 in their inventory. You can repeat this as many times as you want. I have NPCs that infinitely restock their core items somewhere in the thousands now.

They should just sell us the logo, and the game comes with DLC 4 years later, in parts.

im pretty sure most of the one shots you spent 30 minutes talking about is really just a normal damaging ability that one shots you cause you have 20k hp and no resists? It seems kinda unfortunate youre lagging that much in pve and seems mostly like an internet issue unless youre really far away from your server.

Your posed question reflects your ignorance on the matter and probably why you have yet to achieve this on 2 different platforms. Was gonna fact check this video but would be here all day so just gonna address the research topic. There are skills in every craft style that when maxxed (takes 3 skill points) "Reduces research times by 25%, LIMITS research time to 30 days, and allows the research of THREE items at once. That's three items at once per craft style so you can literally research up to 13 traits at the same time with the intro to jewelry. The research speed ups are in the crown store... but they are also available in game that you can buy with vouchers, the easiest vouchers to do are enchanting, alchemy, and provisioning and each of them can be maxxed in a matter of minutes. you get these vouchers by accepting mini craft jobs known as writs which you can get from doing crafting dailies or simply buying in guild traders. There is also an ingame event that generously drops free and tradeable research speedups. Tip of the day -- Work smarter not harder. Don't be the jacka$$ complaining the job is too hard when you refuse to use the tools given to you. Tip #2 this is specifically addressing an endgame achievement/goal in an MMORPG which of course is going to take time from someone who is speaking from the perspective of someone who walks into a gym (ESO) and expects to be able to knock out Ali in a few days (End Game).

I think the point is, you can’t grind all day. Play the game to have fun. Do things that are fun. None of these grinds are required to do well. It’s fairly easy to get purple gear and blue jewelry and that’s 90% of the build power. You don’t need to be at 100% power

tbh I love vanilla textures and graphics. nostalgy hits haaaard. the only thing that I fix every time is that damn fog so I can be able to see further than 20m at a time xD

Gold gear is unnecessary, gold is for people who have played way too much and just want to be 1% better than the other people. Purple clothes and blue jewelry is where I say my build is complete

I can’t even remember the last time I “grinded” I play the game and if I need something I don’t have I buy it with the gold I have. If I don’t have the gold then I just have to use something else… it’s okay to not have access to the best stuff

You could ask someone else to craft the gear you needed for a small fee, if you provide the materials most people will do it for free if you are in a guild with them

Just buy the briar heart ring for 50k gold. End game gear is what most people spend gold on

Just started the video, but immediately, the hdd section. It's the same engine they've been patchworking and updating since Morrowind. It's the same old Creation Engine with the same old bugs, same old resource hogging, just expanded, because Bethesda can't optimize worth shit

I like ESO because I play, leave, come back and pick up where I left off. So many things to slowly work towards. Great locations to visit with somewhat fun combat. I like the one tamriel but do wish they had options to change overland difficulty as it does get trivial as you get up in CP. With the changes to resources (scales off highest stat), companions, endless archives, scrying and scribing coming this year its a fun casual experience you can jump in and out. I am ESO+ but Im also subbed to WoW and EQ so the cost is normal to me. Plus you get crowns everytime you re up. I got like 300,000 crowns because I never really buy anything except the deconstructor, banker, and armorer allies.

Used to play it. Have 400 odd hours in it. Quit playing it because its just a bad MMO with an Elder Scrolls paintjob. Tedious grind, those champion levels and meta, crafting system, classes and skills, but above all else - level scaling. By the time i was CP 160, i was so burned out i did not touch if for almost a year, then came back, played a little, and then quit for good. The only good things ESO has going IMHO (and stuff that i would port over to other ES games) are environmental design, and the variety of miscellaneous items and motifs. Gameplay sucks, and i suppose the reason why i came back to it a few times was that indeed combat was realtime and simple enough. I liked a few places - Gold Coast and The Reach, that massive Blackreach (imagine that in Skyrim)... yet when i think about the game itself, i lose any desire to play it whatsoever. And then there is lore and writing... 😒 Good video. Beats most of modern movies and series.

I finally started playing this game recently for the first time.. that first deathclaw encounrer? Yeah the deathclaw was bugged out and stuck in the hole, it never came out .. I had to jump down off the roof, walk over to the hole, and just unload on this thing with the mini gun , it was like shooting a whale in a barrel

So, if you manage to keep Dogmeat alive and out of force fields to the stage of the game where you'll be heading to the Cathedral...or Boneyard to leave your companions before trying to stealth and speech your way to the Master. Has anyone else got a random encounter several times in a row where you get jumped by raiders who don't attack you, but instead go after Dogmeat and then if they don't manage to kill it during their first round, you then "accidentally" do a massive critical hit on the dog with the alien blaster/turbo plasma rifle/sniper whatever you have instead of the raider you're targeting. Oh yeah, there's a hunting rifle in Vault 15 and a non-violent way to get rid of the Skulz and a violent one where Killian et al. won't attack you afterwards.
